Fox Lee's character Joseibi. weeee. The pose is kinda boring, and I couldn't figure out what to do with his right arm, so he got to be my guinea pig for practicing folds. And I even 'wore' my bedsheet in the mirror as a reference, woah, ambitious. However I have no flippen clue how to color folds but I think I faked it well enough.

Wicked! The folds looks *very* nice, btw! As do the whole outfit in general, come to think of it. And I :heart: his hair, I want purple hair (and maybe red eyes as well) also!

I so want purple hair, too. Red eyes would be pretty fun. You'd get to freak some people out. Hehe.

I think fabric folds are the bane of most. Bah and poo to them. The red eyes and pale skin... I think he was born an albino and decided to wear a purple wig. And you can NEVER have a purple wig without a katana, or whatever the sword is called (I have no idea).
I think you handled the folds really well. The fabric looks quite heavy and a bit stiff- was that your intention?
This comment is full of crapmonkies so you may ignore most of it at your leisure.

hehehe. Fabric fold are indeed evil, except for those who seem to have a good grasp as to how they work; sadly I am not one of them. I wasn't trying to purposely make it stiff looking, but I was using my cotton bedsheet as a reference so that is just how it turned out ^_^;
As for the sword...I can't remember the name. nodachi? odachi? *consults google* nodachi. Japanese sword thinger in any case.
And yay for crapmonkies! Man that sentence made me laugh when I first read it. Thanks bunches Donna!

Sorry for not responding sooner ^^; Thank you for the lovely pic! I especially like your take on his costume, with the cape-type part - very cool ^_^ Can I post this one on my page, linking back to you? Ur... when my page comes back, of course ^^;

In any case, thanks for a great final CMAX. Much appreciated! ^^

donnaquinn: FWIW, he's not human, so that's his natural colouring. He's a shoyo, which is basically a gothy-looking elf :p

I love the colors. The folds look great, by the way. :) I would personally add more shine to the blade, but you might have done that on purpose. :)

Thanks! I agree with you on the blade, I probably should have added more shine to it, hehe.
