o.o good job on hair, find it really hard to define the shape when is black.... because I cant go darker just lighter ._.

Nice application of the scale texture- you've scaled it up or down to make it appropriate to the dragon's anatomy, i.e. on the fingers as opposed to the arm.

The scale pun was not intended, but sadly unavoidable!

One suggestion I would make is to shade the tips of the fingers the same way you've shaded where the horns meet the body- the horns look like they're part of the body, whereas the claws look pasted-on in comparison.

I think the black hair is really great, and for some reason I LOVE the purple mountains. I don't think I'd normally be one for such bright mountains suddenly popping out of the sombre desert, but it works really effectively here!

So yesterday was my day to work on the comic (and other productive things), so naturally my head decides it's time for a migraine!! booo. I think I'll have time today and/or tomorrow to poke at it, at least!

Thanks! For black hair or clothes, I usually made the base a dark gray. That way I can go a little bit darker, and then go over it again later if it looks too gray

thanks, Donna! I totally understand what you're saying about the claws; I didn't even notice it. The scale brush was pretty fun to work with and turned out a lot better than I thought it would. Hooray for custom brushes.
